I, GRAND CHIEF SIR BOB DADAE, GCL., G.C.M.G., K. St. J.,
Governor-General, by virtue of the powers
conferred by Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (Chapter
321) and all other powers me enabling, acting with,
and in accordance with, the advice of the National Executive
Council, hereby appoint Monday 28th February
2022 to be a Public Holiday throughout Papua New Guinea, in
recognition of the life of Papua New Guinea’s
Founding Father and First Prime Minister, Late Grand Chief Sir

The Public Services Issue contains notices concerning vacancies,
transfers and promotions within the National
Public Service. These issues are published monthly in the first week
of each month.

Muruk Haus, Kumul Avenue, Waigani, for
K2.00 each.
THE GENERAL NOTICES ISSUE.
The General Notices Issue includes the date of the sittings of the
National Parliament; Legislation (Acts assented to,
Statutory Rules); Tenders etc. These issues are published weekly at
11.30 a.m. on Thursday.
Single copies may be obtained from the above address for K2.00.
SPECIAL ISSUES.
Special Issues are made on urgent matters as required. They are
provided at no extra cost to subscribers.
Single copies may be purchased on the day of issue at the above
address at the prices shown above for respective
issues.

FORFEITURE OF STATE LEASE
I, HON. JOHN ROSSO, Minister for Lands & Physical Planning by virtue
of powers conferred on me by Section
122(1) of the Land Act 1996 and all other powers me enabling, hereby
forfeit the lease specified in the Schedule on the
grounds that—(a) The improvement conditions imposed by the Act have not been
fulfilled in respect of the land and;(b) The Lessee has failed to comply with the Notice to Show Cause
under Section 122(2)(a) of the Land Act
